26 Sep 2012: birthday bashes and goofiness

Our thanks go to Mouffie -- well and justly known as the hostess with the mostest -- for making the Clubhouse available for the evening's bash.

Not only did we have the usual cribbage action, some of it goofy, but we were celebrating Crazy Joe and the Townie's birthdays in true hipster fashion... With cupcakes !

Better still, our non-smoking live mascot, Oliver, made the rounds, again and again and again.

To mix things up a bit, and at the risk of angering a certain cap'n, we introduced Kings Cribbage to CRIBBAGE CLUB's repertoire.  A chest-puffing Gabridoodle beat The Pink Queen, her consort the Townie, and Little Rhody.

22 Aug 2012: The first official/informal cribbage bash

First a big thank-you to Mouffie, the hostest with the mostest, for making the her clubhouse available for CRIBBAGE CLUB's first official, yet informal meeting.

At times things got out of control, but hey, there's always a douchebag at the party !  After much heming and hawing about noms, we got two two-player games going. Once all the stragglers arrived, we got two four-player games going. Finally, Crazy Joe got us to play two big, goofy eight-player games -- yes, that's right, eight players (two teams of four).  Those games featured amazing pegging storms, the second game ending in a double-skunk !

Our first event !

Mouffie, the hostess with the mostest, has taken the bull by the horns and scheduled our first event !  It's August 22nd at 7:00 pm at the Main Clubhouse.
